Multisensor Snow/Ice Cover Maps:
Northern Hemisphere

Snow and ice cover over the Northern Hemisphere is derived from combined observations of METOP AVHRR, MSG SEVIRI, GOES Imager and DMSP SSMIS.

The algorithm is fully automated and operational.
